JACHacks 2026
On April 11-12, over 100 participants took part in JACHacks 2026, the third annual Hackathon hosted by the Computer Science Department.
Participants from Cégep de Rosemont, Dawson College, Vanier College, Marianopolis College, Champlain College, Cégep de Maisonneuve, Cégep Gérald-Godin, Cégep du Vieux Montréal, Seneca Polytechnic, École de Technologie Supérieur (ETS), Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Concordia University, McGill University, Université de Waterloo, Carleton University, and University of Guelph competed, innovated, and built projects.
This year’s theme focused on developing projects to improve student experiences in areas like campus life, academics, transportation, and wellbeing. Participants built diverse AI and data-driven tools for campus use, such as apps for connecting socially, time management, visualizing real-time space and occupancy, monitoring security, and more.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made JACHacks 2026 a resounding success.
Congratulations to all the winners and hackers!
We are already looking forward to JACHacks 2027!
