Loonies Flock the Campus at John Abbott College

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC – March 22, 2017 –The John Abbott College campus took on a remarkable look and feel yesterday, raising $20,006 for the Student Assistance Fund.

Students and staff jumped in to the annual fundraiser, started in 2003, where loonies are stuck to two-sided tape that runs the length of College – almost 250 m!  Energy and school spirit led the charge to elevate the Loonie Line to an unprecedented success.

Everyone can use some help occasionally and if that means helping a student stay in school, the Assistance Fund at John Abbott is there for them. The Fund is set up to help with groceries, textbooks, registration fees and much more.
