Services offered to help with the Épreuve Uniforme en Français (EUF)
Welcome to the CAF section dedicated to the French Exit Exam (Épreuve uniforme de français - EUF)
The CAF offers a range of resources to complement the French courses (Pratique, RENF, UF0, UF1 and UF2) and help you prepare for the exam.
If you need help with linguistic questions (grammar, punctuation, syntax), CAF-EUF offers a series of 5 individual sessions with a tutor. Each semester, the first session begins in week 4, with registrations due by week 3. The second series of 5 sessions is offered from mid-semester onwards. CAF-EUF RESOURCES
The CAF-EUF offers you the opportunity to meet tutors to:
- Better understand EUF requirements;
- Prepare for the exam;
- Do an exam simulation;
- Understand the EUF scoring grid;
- Discuss theoretical issues related to the EUF:
– Introduction / development / conclusion
– Different types of questions
– The critical/explanatory/comparative essay
– The quotation and explanation of the quotation
- Consult books and resources online and on site

The CAF offers several workshops to prepare for the EUF. These workshops are led on site by teachers from the department.
