Green Innovation Challenge

Do you have an idea to make your CEGEP, your community, or our planet more sustainable?

John Abbott College invites CEGEP students to participate in the Green Innovation Challenge, held on Friday, January 12, 2024 in our Agora.

Join us, build a team, learn from expert mentors, create prototypes and pitch your project ideas. The winning team will receive a $1000 prize from Pfizer to help launch their project into the world. A $500 and a $250 prize will also be offered to the runner ups. Please note that students are required to participate for the full day in order to pitch their project idea. As well, teams who win first and second prizes will be required to provide a short update on the first phase of their project by May 3, 2024. More details will be provided during the event.

Please register by Monday, January 8; it’s free and so is the food.

The event will take place all day on Friday (breakfast at 8:30 and the event starts at 9:00). It is open to students from all CEGEPS on the Island of Montreal, whether you attend an English or French school.

If you have questions, please contact sandbox@johnabbott.qc.ca.

By attending this event, you agree and understand that photos or videos will be taken and may be used on the College website, in publications and/or social media platforms.
