Course Calendar

The Course Calendar contains a semester-by-semester breakdown of the classes offered in each program, complete with class descriptions. Our new online version allows for easy navigation of the courses offered and ensures that we always have the most up-to-date information for our students.

Pre-University Programs

The pre-university programs at John Abbott College are a gateway to a successful university education.  These two-year (4 semesters) programs provide students with a solid academic foundation and equip them with the proper tools for a smooth transition to university studies.  The pre-university programs combine core courses, which will vary depending on the program of enrolment (see specific program for details), and general education courses.

Career Programs

The career programs at John Abbott College are specifically formatted to give students the knowledge and experience necessary for joining the workforce directly upon graduation. With a more hands-on approach, these programs emphasize the development of skills and aptitudes invaluable to becoming a productive member of the working world. These programs run for a duration of 3 years (6 semesters) and are made up of a fine balance between program-specific core courses and general education courses.

Professional Theatre Audition Handbook

Programs with Special Requirements
JAC Student for a Day

We offer a “Student for a Day” program where high school students can be paired up with a JAC Student Ambassador and spend the day as a JAC student. For information, or to sign up, please contact admissions@johnabbott.qc.ca.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

JAC Financial Assistance Services provides all essential information on the different financial assistance programs to which John Abbott students may apply.  FAS provides advice on the options available to students and assistance with the various application procedures for financial aid.

Residence / Housing

John Abbott College offers the finest in on-campus accommodation with our Stewart apartments. The building provides housing to 195 full-time students in fully furnished apartment-style living. The building is connected to the rest of the College allowing easy access to classrooms, the library, as well as the Casgrain Sports Centre. Click here
