Volunteer Recruitment Day at John Abbott College
Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC – August 31, 2016 –Capitalizing on a movement that is gaining wonderful momentum among young people today, the John Abbott College Student Employment Centre is holding its 1st Annual Volunteer Recruitment Day Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
A positive trend is emerging with increasing numbers of students seeking volunteering opportunities whether for course credit, athletic program requirements, or to simply get involved in a benevolent way.
In response to this new reality, the JAC Student Employment Centre has organized it’s first-ever Volunteer Recruitment Day, bringing together community members and organizations of all types with College students in order to facilitate active volunteerism to our 6500 current students.
The objective of the day is to help students explore a variety of volunteer options and ultimately discover a path that is right for them.
The Volunteer Recruitment Day will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Agora (Casgrain building) Tuesday, September 13.
