Ces subventions soulignent son engagement \u00e0 favoriser la r\u00e9ussite des \u00e9tudiants et \u00e9tudiantes gr\u00e2ce aux technologies de pointe et \u00e0 des m\u00e9thodologies p\u00e9dagogiques innovantes.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Derrick Chung a obtenu une subvention P\u00f4le interordres de Montr\u00e9al (PIM) pour son projet intitul\u00e9 \u00ab De la connaissance \u00e0 la pratique : diffusion d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de soutien intelligent pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019apprentissage des math\u00e9matiques dans les communaut\u00e9s coll\u00e9giales et universitaires du Qu\u00e9bec \u00bb. Cette initiative avant-gardiste vise \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper et \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre un syst\u00e8me de soutien intelligent (SSI) destin\u00e9 \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l\u2019apprentissage des math\u00e9matiques. En int\u00e9grant des outils d\u2019\u00e9valuation assist\u00e9s par IA et un \u00ab\u00a0chatbot\u00a0\u00bb interactif, ce syst\u00e8me fournit une r\u00e9troaction personnalis\u00e9e, permettant aux \u00e9tudiant(e)s d\u2019identifier leurs forces et leurs faiblesses tout en favorisant un apprentissage autonome.<\/p>\n<p>Cette subvention de transfert des connaissances financera la cr\u00e9ation de ressources de formation accessibles et d\u2019ateliers afin d\u2019aider les enseignant(e)s \u00e0 int\u00e9grer efficacement cette solution technologique avanc\u00e9e dans leurs salles de classe \u00e0 travers le Qu\u00e9bec. Ce projet est la continuit\u00e9 d&rsquo;une subvention PIM sur un syst\u00e8me de tutorat intelligent en math\u00e9matiques initialement attribu\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al; Derrick dirige maintenant la mise en \u0153uvre de ce projet \u00e0 travers le r\u00e9seau des c\u00e9geps.<\/p>\n<p>De plus, Derrick Chung est co-demandeur d\u2019une subvention ECQ (Entente Canada-Qu\u00e9bec) r\u00e9cemment attribu\u00e9e, dirig\u00e9e par Dr Neerusha Baurhoo Gokool de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al. Intitul\u00e9 \u00ab Surmonter l\u2019\u00e9chec en calcul : Transformer l\u2019apprentissage et l\u2019enseignement pour le succ\u00e8s acad\u00e9mique des c\u00e9g\u00e9piens.nes avec un Syst\u00e8me de Tutorat<br \/>\nIntelligent\u00bb, ce projet r\u00e9volutionnaire vise \u00e0 lutter contre les taux \u00e9lev\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9chec en calcul. En s\u2019appuyant sur des syst\u00e8mes de tutorat intelligents bas\u00e9s sur l\u2019IA, l\u2019initiative offrira aux \u00e9tudiant(e)s un soutien 24\/7, favorisant le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences m\u00e9tacognitives et des strat\u00e9gies d\u2019apprentissage efficaces. En collaboration avec le le Coll\u00e8ge Dawson, l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al et l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Concordia, ce projet combine des approches p\u00e9dagogiques et technologiques de pointe pour r\u00e9pondre aux divers besoins cognitifs et \u00e9motionnels des \u00e9tudiant(e)s.<\/p>\n<p>Le C\u00e9gep John Abbott adresse ses plus sinc\u00e8res f\u00e9licitations \u00e0 Derrick Chung pour son engagement envers la r\u00e9ussite des \u00e9tudiant(e)s et son approche novatrice de l\u2019\u00e9ducation.
