Ashton Miller-Melancon (Sciences humaines – 2020) a r\u00e9cemment \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 un des huit meilleures \u00c9toiles acad\u00e9miques canadiennes pour la saison 2022-2023 par U SPORTS.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 chaque ann\u00e9e, U SPORTS honore les \u00e9tudiant(e)s-athl\u00e8tes qui obtiennent et maintiennent une moyenne de 80 % ou plus au cours de l\u2019ann\u00e9e scolaire. Les huit meilleurs \u00e9tudiant(e)s-athl\u00e8tes sont invit\u00e9(e)s \u00e0 un \u00e9v\u00e9nement sp\u00e9cial \u00e0 Ottawa o\u00f9 ils(elles) re\u00e7oivent la M\u00e9daille du Gouverneur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral pour l’excellence acad\u00e9mique.<\/p>\n

Au cours de la saison 2022-23, Ashton a maintenu une moyenne g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de 4.30 tout en jouant au football pour l’Universit\u00e9 Queen’s \u00e0 Kingston, en Ontario.<\/p>\n

L\u2019entra\u00eeneur-chef de football des Islanders du C\u00e9gep John Abbott, Patrick Gregory, se souvient d\u2019Ashton comme un joueur cl\u00e9 de l’\u00e9quipe championne de 2019.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Ashton est un de ces joueurs de haut niveau, sur le terrain comme hors du terrain\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Gregory. \u00ab\u00a0Il poss\u00e8de une dualit\u00e9 sportive et acad\u00e9mique que la plupart des \u00e9tudiants-athl\u00e8tes aspirent \u00e0 atteindre. Il a un grand avenir devant lui\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Lorsqu’on lui demande ce qu’il conseille aux \u00e9tudiant(e)s actuel(le)s qui \u00e9tudient au niveau coll\u00e9gial, Ashton r\u00e9pond : \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9veloppez votre sens de l’organisation. \u00catre capable d’organiser efficacement le travail que vous avez \u00e0 faire, ainsi que d’organiser votre temps, est un atout majeur qui vous aidera \u00e0 obtenir de bonnes notes au c\u00e9gep. Ces comp\u00e9tences deviennent encore plus importantes lorsque vous commencez vos \u00e9tudes universitaires. \u00catre organis\u00e9 vous permettra de rester concentr\u00e9 sur votre travail et d’\u00e9viter la procrastination et les probl\u00e8mes de derni\u00e8re minute. Maintenir une routine organis\u00e9e vous permettra d’acqu\u00e9rir de la discipline, qui est une comp\u00e9tence transf\u00e9rable qui vous aidera tout au long de votre vie.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
