Prerequisites No programming experience is required, however participants must have prior experience or knowledge (Intermediate to Advanced level)  in Microsoft Excel or spreadsheets.
Target Audience This course is for Excel users who want to learn how to automate  tasks using  VBA ( Visual Basic for Applications

Course Description:

This course is considered as a foundational level course and will focus on the fundamental concepts in VBA (Visual Basic for Application) including:

The following topics will be covered:

  • Record Macros and Modifying Macros
  • Assign Macros to Toolbar, Buttons, Shortcut key
  • Visual Basic Editor and its options
  • Learn Procedures: Functions and Sub-routines
  • Use of Ranges
  • Use control Flow (Do…Loop , While; For… Next; Arrays and Loops and more)
  • Learn R1C1 formulas
  • Use of Userforms (Text boxes, labels, buttons)
  • Create pivot tables for Charts
  • Power Excel with the use of VBA
  • Create fill word documents from Excel VBA
  • Learn how to handle VBA Errors
  • Customize the Ribbon to run Macros
